PURPOSE OF POSITION: |
GCIs Senior Contract Risk & Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting the efficiency consistency and risk mitigation efforts across the contract lifecycle. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining operational processes evaluating contractual risk ensuring alignment between contract deliverables and business needs and supporting continuous process improvement. The Analyst acts as a cross-functional liaison to promote compliance accuracy and operational excellence in contract workflows. |
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AT ALL LEVELS: |
Contract Lifecycle Optimization: - Support the development documentation and ongoing maintenance of standardized operational processes ensuring consistency scalability and compliance.
- Maintain accurate real-time records of contract status approvals amendments and associated documentation within designated contract management systems.

Contract Review & Risk Assessment - Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to identify potential operational financial or compliance risks; escalate issues as appropriate and support the implementation of mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate third-party and vendor contracts to assess exposure to operational and financial risks and recommend appropriate risk controls.
- Ensure incorporation of risk mitigation language and operational controls into contracts aligned with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Process Certificate of Insurance requests.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Alignment - Partner cross-functionally with Legal Procurement Finance Compliance and Business Units to align contract terms with operational capabilities business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams to resolve discrepancies clarify contract deliverables and facilitate smooth execution of contractual obligations.

Monitoring & Compliance - Track and monitor key contractual obligations performance milestones and service-level requirements to ensure timely compliance and execution of deliverables.
- Support internal audits operational reviews and regulatory assessments by preparing and presenting relevant documentation data and analysis of contract practices.

Performance Reporting & Continuous Improvement - Analyze and report on operational and contract-related metrics workflow performance and process bottlenecks; provide actionable insights to drive efficiency.
- Recommend and support implementation of improvements to contract operations and risk management practices with an emphasis on enhancing control transparency and accountability.
- Remain informed of legal regulatory and industry developments that may affect contract operations vendor oversight or enterprise risk exposure and proactively adjust processes as needed.
- Ability to accurately communicate information virtually (i.e. Teams) over the phone and in-person in a clear and concise manner to a range of audiences.

This position is accountable for designing implementing and enhancing enterprise-wide contract workflows assessing high-risk contractual terms supporting regulatory and internal compliance efforts and fostering cross-functional collaboration across business units. As a subject matter expert (SME) in contract controls and operational risk the Senior Analyst provides authoritative guidance champions process improvements and influences the development of governance standards and best practices. Operating at a senior level within the discipline this role demonstrates advanced expertise and autonomy across all areas of responsibility. The individual performs highly complex specialized tasks with minimal direction exercises sound independent judgment and serves as a trusted advisor in high-impact contract and risk-related matters. Essential Duties: - Lead the design implementation and continuous optimization of standardized operational processes and documentation across the contract lifecycle to enhance efficiency compliance and scalability.
- Evaluate complex contract terms and conditions to identify legal financial and operational risks; develop and recommend mitigation strategies and actively influence contract negotiation outcomes.
- Serve as the primary liaison among Legal Procurement Finance Compliance and business unit leaders to ensure contract structures and execution strategies are aligned with enterprise-wide goals.
- Conduct comprehensive contract reviews to identify and interpret key performance indicators obligations service-level requirements and high-risk clauses; ensure timely compliance with all deliverables.
- Design implement and maintain advanced dashboards and reporting tools to track contract performance risk exposure workflow cycle times and compliance metrics using key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics platforms.
- Oversee and ensure the integrity accuracy and audit readiness of contract records approval trails and supporting documentation within the contract lifecycle management (CLM) system.
- Provide detailed documentation risk analyses and findings in support of internal audits regulatory reviews and third-party assessments.
- Continuously monitor emerging regulations industry trends and evolving best practices related to third-party risk operational compliance and contract governance proactively adjusting internal practices as needed.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts by providing coaching on risk assessment methodologies operational workflows and contract review techniques contributing to the teams overall knowledge development.
- Recommend and help implement enterprise-level policy enhancements to strengthen contract governance frameworks and reduce organizational exposure to contract-related risk.
- Independently lead complex contract risk assessments and reviews with minimal oversight delivering actionable insights and driving resolution of high-impact issues.
- Deliver strategic recommendations to leadership on risk mitigation process enhancement and contractual structuring to ensure optimal outcomes and value realization.
- Represent the contract operations function in governance committees enterprise risk forums and cross-functional working groups helping to shape the organizations approach to contract risk and compliance.
- Lead and support cross-functional initiatives aimed at streamlining workflows standardizing risk controls and advancing the maturity of the organizations contract operations model.

Minimum Qualifications: Required: *A combination of relevant work experience and/or education sufficient to perform the duties of the job may substitute to meet the total years required on a year-for-year basis - High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelors degree inBusiness Legal Studies Risk Managementor related field. *
- Minimum of seven (7) years ofcontract management legal operations compliance risk analysisor relevant experience. *
Preferred: - Advanced degree or certification (e.g. JD MBA IACCM CRCM).
- Demonstrated experience leading contract process improvements and cross-functional risk initiatives.
- Telecommunications experience.
- Relevant telecom industry or job specific certifications.
