Job Description
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) $50/hr Travel or Local Contract Renton WA
Location: Renton WA
Setting: Senior Living Facility
Pay Rate: $50/hour
Schedule: MondayFriday 12:00 PM 8:30 PM (40 guaranteed hours/week)
Contract Duration: Now through August with potential to extend
Position Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a reputable senior living facility in Renton WA. This is a great opportunity for LPNs seeking stable weekday hours competitive pay and the possibility to transition to a permanent role.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care including administering medications monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily activities
Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation according to facility and state regulations
Assist in patient assessments and report changes in condition to supervising nurses or physicians
Ensure residents receive compassionate care in a safe and supportive environment
Educate residents and families about health maintenance and care plans
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program
Licensure: Current and valid LPN license in WA
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as an LPN in a healthcare or senior living setting
Certifications: Current BLS certification
Health Requirements: COVID-19 vaccination; recent PPD test or Chest X-Ray
Background: Clear criminal background check(s) and drug screening
