Job Description
We are seeking an experienced TIBCO Developer to join the integration team supporting Consumers Energy in Jackson MI. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW) 6.x and 5.x Business Events (BE) API development and enterprise integration patterns. This is a hybrid role requiring occasional onsite work in Jackson MI so candidates should be open to relocation or commuting as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and support integration solutions using TIBCO Business Works 6.x/5.x EMS and Business Events.
- Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs using TIBCO API Exchange Gateway.
- Configure and monitor messaging systems using TIBCO EMS Rendezvous and Hawk.
- Collaborate with business analysts architects and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development test and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews deployment processes and performance tuning.
- Ensure integration solutions meet standards for security scalability and resilience.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of hands-on experience with:
- TIBCO BusinessWorks (both 6.x and 5.x)
- TIBCO EMS Hawk and Business Events
- TIBCO API Exchange Gateway and Rendezvous
- Solid understanding of SOA integration architecture and enterprise messaging.
- Proficient in RESTful and SOAP API development and maintenance.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Git-based version control and basic DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex enterprise environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in clear professional English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid/remote setting.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Docker Kubernetes or cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of other integration/middleware platforms or scripting languages.
- Previous experience in utilities or energy sectors.
