Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior C# .NET Developer with strong expertise in Oracle SQL Server and Azure DevOps to lead technical analysis documentation and modernization of a suite of core enterprise applications. This role requires someone who can quickly become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) deeply understand integration points and recommend architectural improvements to streamline data and application complexity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand 4 5 core business applications (in AMS scope) and their integrations.
- Build detailed technical understanding through self-analysis and available high-level KT from the AMS team.
- Study existing architecture and develop comprehensive documentation of business logic (referencing and extending available SAAs).
- Map and document system interfaces integrations and data flows across applications and payment systems.
- Lead knowledge transition efforts and serve as SME within 1 2 months.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify pain points and architectural bottlenecks.
- Propose and design architectural changes to decouple systems distribute databases and reduce schema complexity.
- Work with Azure DevOps for version control CI/CD pipeline maintenance and deployment tracking.
Required Skills:
- 12 years of experience with C# .NET Oracle SQL Server and Azure DevOps.
- Proven ability to reverse engineer existing applications and document complex systems.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and schema-driven applications.
- Expertise in system integration interface analysis and enterprise data flows.
- Experience working in Application Maintenance/Support (AMS) environments.
- Ability to take ownership and drive architectural improvements independently.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with application modernization or legacy system refactoring.
- Familiarity with microservices or distributed database architectures.
- Previous experience in the finance or payments domain.
