Job Title: Homemaker
Location: Rochester New York
Pay Rate: (TBD)
Schedule: Per Diem
Join a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional home healthcare.
We are currently hiring compassionate Homemakers to support individuals in their homes as part of our certified home care services. This role focuses on providing essential non-medical support that enhances safety comfort and independence in the home setting.
Role Overview:
As a Homemaker you will assist clients with household tasks and routine activities that help maintain a clean safe and supportive living environment. Your role is vital in promoting independence and dignity for clients receiving home care services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform light housekeeping such as dusting sweeping mopping and laundry
- Change linens and maintain a clean and safe home environment
- Prepare simple meals in accordance with dietary preferences or restrictions
- Shop for groceries and household items as needed
- Assist with organizing and routine home management tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Observe and report any concerns about the clients safety or well-being
The Ideal Candidate:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in homemaking housekeeping or caregiving a plus
- Compassionate dependable and detail-oriented
- Good communication and time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Must pass background checks and health screenings
- Reliable transportation is helpful but not required
