Inviting applications for the role of S&T Back-Office Energy Management- Assistant Manager - Norwegian Remote EMEA
The Analyst S&T Back-Office energy management primary responsibility would be to manage energy portfolios for end-user customers (Nordics only) manage trade confirmation and collateral management.
Responsibilities
In this role the shortlisted candidate will be responsible to perform the following:
Ensure that all executed service agreements are managed (track add identifiers etc) and saved in respective folders
Setting up new customers and tracking customers contract expirations
Manage trade confirmation and mandate volume into ETRM systems
Validate the trade that has been entered into ETRM system against the supplier confirmation
Ensure trade confirmation goes to the counter party
Track volumes and high price energy management clients Notify the commercial management team of any issues.
Lock or clear transactions in ETRM system to not allow for further editing
Manage trade confirmations (hedges for counterparty on NASDAQ)
Validate the trade that has been entered into ETRM system against NASDAQ
Allocate to clearing clients portfolios on NASDAQ at the end of the day to ensure book is zero
Collateral Management check if the clients have sufficient collateral to NASDAQ and notify clients if they need to top up their bank account.
End of day collateral requirement checks and management.
Collateral Management for eSett (settlement services to electricity market participants in Nordic region) - Check daily to ensure that we have posted sufficient collateral in eSett websites send additional collateral if required
Check and approve invoicing amount in CRM so that it flows to settlement team
Fill out annual regulatory reporting documentation
Communicate efficiently with business partners team members and Management.
Knowledge in electricity markets would be an added advantage.
Shift Timing Day Shift 08:00 AM to 4:00 PM Norway local time
Minimum qualifications
MBA/ PGDBM /B. Com (Finance / Accounting)
Preferred qualifications
Professional experience of relevant years or more
Ability to work independently without significant supervision
Good communication skills as job involves liaising with clients and internal departments
Prior usage of NASDAQ and eSett settlements is desirable
Knowledge and understanding of financial terms contracts business law or energy a plus.
Must be fluent in a Norwegian and English both verbally and in writing.
