Job Description
Lifesteps is hiring a Full-Time Accountant in the Butler area.
Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for nearly 100 years by helping individuals and families with lifes changing needs. Position Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for the preparation and proofing of financial records and documents. The Accountant performs efficient and accurate data entry into the Micro Information Processing (M.I.P.) Accounting System.
This full-time position works a schedule of 8am to 4:30pm with weekends off!
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Associates Degree in Accounting or related field and four (4) years of related experience in Accounting
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent thought processing and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
Preferred:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field and one (1) year of related experience
- Accounting software experience such as Abila M.I.P.
