Flexion Inc. a Madison WI based IT Consulting and Services firm is looking for a Web Application Support Engineer to work on a long-term consulting project. The client for this position is based in Madison WI but work for this position can be done remotely. The initial duration of this position is through March of 2026 with possible extension.

The Web Application Support Engineer will be applying principles of web development and software engineering to analyze troubleshoot and remediate issues within customer facing software systems. They will also provide technical assistance to Level two support staff who currently handle support tickets from customers and agents but do not have the technical background to troubleshoot and identify recurring patterns.

Required experience:

-At least three years of Development experience including Front End (HTML CSS Javascript Node stack) and Back End (APIs API management tools API clients authentication and authorization WAF OWASP protections etc.)

-At least two years of Application Support experience

-At least two years of experience querying and analyzing complex data problems using SQL

-Experience with Cloud platforms Datadog and Dynatrace is helpful
