Location: New York NY
Salary: $165000 to $170000
Position Highlights for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
Setting: 100% outpatient careno hospital rounds or overnight shifts.
Patient Population: Ages 13 and up presenting with a variety of Serious Mental Illnesses (SMIs) including schizophrenia bipolar disorder depression anxiety and more.
Work Schedule: Choose your lifestyle4x10s 5x8s or part-time options available.
Hybrid Model: Enjoy flexibility with both on-site and remote telepsychiatry sessions.
EMR: CareLogic (training provided if needed).
Parking: Street parking available at both clinic locations.
Clinical Responsibilities for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations (45- 60 minutes per session).
Provide medication management appointments (30 minutes based on clinical need).
Administer and/or supervise IM injections as part of medication regimens.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians therapists case managers and support staff.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in CareLogic EMR.
Participate in team meetings and clinical case reviews.
Qualifications:
Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is preferred.
Active New York State NP license with prescriptive authority.
Experience working with adolescent and adult populations and individuals diagnosed with SMIs.
Strong communication empathy and teamwork skills.
