This is a position that works ideally 9am-6pm Monday Friday. The pay is $14 -15 per hour depending on experience and qualifications with incentive pay. The position is onsite at our center located: 398 Douglas Avenue Altamonte Springs Florida 32714

The Preschool Floater Teacher develops a cohesive teaching team coordinates the curriculum for our children of varied ages and manages the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. The Teacher in this role should be high energy and able to work well with staff students and parents. Youll have the opportunity to be a leader in the classroom champion a team environment and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while making a positive impact on the lives of children.
What Youll Do:
- Coordinate and implement educational curriculum for children ages 3 to 4 years by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
- Lead by example and encourage success through modeling and coaching
- Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social cognitive and emotional growth
- Maintain a personal and professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement while following all facility policies and state regulation
- Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children
- Understanding the developmental stages of early childhood
- Implement sensory-rich age-appropriate lesson plans
- Encourage children to develop language skills a community-spirited classroom through sharing caring and self-regulation while also encouraging independent feeding and self-help skills
- Track childrens progress and report to parents
- Collaborate with other educators
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
What We Need from You: - High school Diploma and/or degree in related field of study required
- FL DCF 45 hours Required
- FL DCF Transcript Please send transcript to . You can retrieve the transcript from to obtain VPK Teacher credentials from DCF
- Must clear a full DCF background check
- At least 1 year of professional early childhood training/experience
- CPR First Aid and Fire Extinguisher Certification completion within 30 days of employment
- Fluent in both English and Spanish is a Plus
