Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
A position is available for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage a book of business. This role involves servicing accounts from start to finish cross-selling additional lines of business and ensuring the best interests of clients and partners are protected. The position offers flexibility with the option to work in-office hybrid or remotely depending on the candidates location and experience.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $60000 - $80000 annually (higher compensation considered based on experience and book size)
- Incentives: 20% commission on new business
- Work Schedule: Hybrid/remote options available after an in-office period
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business including accounts in construction contracting and other industries
- Provide full-service account management from A to Z
- Cross-sell additional lines of business to existing customers
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through clear and professional communication
- Protect the best interests of clients and partners
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and tasks
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
- Experience: 3-5 years of commercial agency experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered if highly qualified
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Epic software is a bonus
- Key Competencies:
- Strong multitasking abilities to manage various projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to plan and execute tasks efficiently
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and energy in the workplace
