Lake Forest High School is seeking a Girls Tennis Varsity/JV Assistant Coach for the 2025-2026 season.

Description: The Assistant Varsity/JV Girls Tennis Coach will organize coordinate and promote under the direction of the Head Coach while carrying out the LFHS Mission Statement and Philosophy of the Athletic Department. The Assistant Varsity/JV Girls Tennis Coach will provide effective tennis instruction and overall program management demonstrate leadership that will ensure a positive learning environment for student-athletes and will stress the importance of educational based athletics as a top priority. The Assistant Varsity/JV Girls Tennis Coach will demonstrate a high degree of ethics professionalism human relations and be a positive role model for all student-athletes.

Qualifications:All coaches in an IHSA sport must hold a current Illinois Teaching Certificate registered in Lake County ASEP certificate (American Sport Education Program) or have completed an approved National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) coaching certification program. Coaches must maintain current AED/CPR certification and meet all IHSA coaching certification annual requirements. Prior tennis participation and coaching experience is preferred.
