What youll do:
- ESB Platform Management: Lead installation configuration maintenance and upgrades of ESB systems (IBM MQ App Connect Enterprise) including documentation and task delegation.
- Technical Leadership & Consultation: Provide expert guidance mentor team members and author/sign off on technical specifications for integration solutions.
- Integration Deployment Support: Coordinate deployments across environments (Dev to Production) support project delivery and enhance automated deployment processes.
- Incident Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve ESB-related issues maintain SOPs for efficient problem resolution and engage vendors when necessary.
- Platform Roadmap & Resilience: Execute the ESB technology roadmap and ensure disaster recovery procedures are current and effective.
Who youll work with:
You will provide integration implementation related expertise to application developers project development teams and test teams as well as guide and mentor other IT Administrators. You will be an individual contributor while reporting into the Senior Manager Data Technologies & Services.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Information Technology and:
- Have 8 years of relevant progressively responsible experience:
- including 4 years of experience with administering
- IBM MQ V8/9 or later.
- IBM ACE 12.X.
- including at least 2 years of experience and proficiency with:
- MQ/RDQM ACE troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Linux and Windows servers.
- SOAP XML and HTTP(S) SQL JDBC and ODBC.
- Version Control (e.g. BitBucket GitHub) and code merging and resolving merge conflicts.
- Have expertise with supporting the following technologies is an asset:
- Experience with ACE (app connect enterprise) integration configuration and support.
- Experience with Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4i) integration design installation and configuration.
- Install and maintain IBM ACE/App Connect (CP4I).
- Redhat OCP Certification.
- Have a Bachelor of Science in Computer science or in related field (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Have these preferred supplementary skills:
- Understanding of XPath JSON and Java.
- LDAP knowledge.
- Exposure to Retail Industry.
- Strong change management practices.
- ITIL certification considered an asset.
- Have communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
