As Technical Producer you will be responsible for managing the human technical and physical resources required for news productions. You will also be in charge of planning directing organizing and monitoring those resources. Additionally you will represent management on internal production sites.
The requirement is for weekday and weekend shifts and between 4am and midnight.
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
Community college diploma in audiovisual studies communications or other appropriate field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Five (5) years production experience.
Three (3) years experience in team or staff management.
Understanding of digital production.
Extensive knowledge of production operations and technical tools required for news production.
Personnel management skills.
Project management skills.
Solid command of health and safety standards.
Client-service skills.
Good team player.
Good knowledge of spoken and written French.
Proficiency in English an asset.
Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
