Were looking for a Principal Human Health / Ecological Risk Assessor to lead and deliver high-level risk assessments across Australia. Youll be a national technical lead mentoring our growing team and guiding clients through complex regulatory and scientific challenges.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Delivering detailed human health and ecological risk assessments for contaminated sites

  • Leading the development of Conceptual Site Models (CSMs) and exposure assessments

  • Interpreting toxicological site and exposure data to inform health/ecological risks

  • Reviewing or preparing site-specific risk-based criteria

  • Advising clients auditors and regulators on site management strategies

  • Supporting business development and proposal writing

  • Mentoring and training emerging risk assessors within the team

What Youll Need

  • Degree in Environmental Science Toxicology Environmental Engineering Chemistry or similar

  • Minimum 8 years in risk assessment roles (consulting or regulator)

  • Strong technical knowledge of NEPM CRC CARE enHealth and relevant state-based frameworks

  • Experience working on complex industrial or contaminated land sites

  • Confidence working with multidisciplinary teams and clients

  • A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in mentoring others
