Were looking for a Principal Human Health / Ecological Risk Assessor to lead and deliver high-level risk assessments across Australia. Youll be a national technical lead mentoring our growing team and guiding clients through complex regulatory and scientific challenges.
What Youll Be Doing
Delivering detailed human health and ecological risk assessments for contaminated sites
Leading the development of Conceptual Site Models (CSMs) and exposure assessments
Interpreting toxicological site and exposure data to inform health/ecological risks
Reviewing or preparing site-specific risk-based criteria
Advising clients auditors and regulators on site management strategies
Supporting business development and proposal writing
Mentoring and training emerging risk assessors within the team
What Youll Need
Degree in Environmental Science Toxicology Environmental Engineering Chemistry or similar
Minimum 8 years in risk assessment roles (consulting or regulator)
Strong technical knowledge of NEPM CRC CARE enHealth and relevant state-based frameworks
Experience working on complex industrial or contaminated land sites
Confidence working with multidisciplinary teams and clients
A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in mentoring others
Work from anywhere Brisbane Sydney Melbourne Perth Adelaide or remotely
