General Information:
JMU Information Technology is hiring a part-time position to support the IT Collaboration and Web team operations. This position has the opportunity for full-remote (with the exception of occasional travel to campus for in-person meetings) and will be working 20 to 25 hours per week on average with hours between 8am - 5pm (Monday - Friday).
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will be handling system support and analysis activities across the M365 Zoom and Cascade system platforms as well as provide support for ongoing departmental initiatives with web accessibility and compliance.
Qualifications:
Required
Experience supporting larger software platforms such as: Microsoft 365 Zoom Google Workspace Salesforce Canvas Cascade etc.
Experience working with end-users of varying skills and abilities.
Demonstrated technical ability to learn configure and troubleshoot software.
Demonstrated analytical strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Additional Considerations
Experience in a Higher Education environment.
Experience with web accessibility and compliance.
