Build the Future with Us EquipmentShare is Hiring a Fleet Manager

Were hiring a Fleet Manager for our Corporate HQ in Columbia MO and were looking for someone whos ready to grow with us bring energy and drive to their work and help us build the future of construction. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for complete Fleet Management of equipment and attachments for retail locations in the Midwest including order planning sourcing and procurement. Follow up on orders and receipt of all retail and retail/stock equipment. Maintain proper level of inventory based on market trend analysis. Assist sales in sourcing/out-sourcing equipment and attachments for retail sales. Assist as needed on quotes for equipment extended warranty quotes shipping and freight quotes. This role is hybrid.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage Retail Order Plan (Case Portal- 2 Year Plan for Order Management). Adjust as needed based on market trends sales demand etc.
  • Plan source and secure fleet (retail and retail/stock) for 5 locations.
  • Plan attachment needs for machines on order. Order as needed (Just in Time Ordering).
  • Responsible for receiving all equipment and attachments for all locations including notifications to fleet sales team and applicable service department (PDI/Service Order).
  • Administrator for Site Watch (Case Dealer Portal). Register machines to customers as they are sold. Updated/manage usernames and customer access to their equipment on the Portal.
  • Administrator for My Epiroc. Register machines to customers as they are sold.
  • Help outsource equipment as needed for retail sales. This includes calls to other Case dealers for equipment needed to facilitate sales.
  • Put in all Purchase Order Requests (retail and stock Case and non-Case).
  • Cost Capture Purchase Orders for Extended Warranties and any out-sourced freight hauls for equipment
  • Secure freight quotes for any outsourced equipment. (minimum 3 or 4 quotes to assure competitive rates).
  • Inventory management of the fleet. This includes monthly inventory counts on all retail/stock equipment. Make periodic calls on branch locations to assist with inventory counts audits and compliance of policy with regards to retail inventory.
  • Manage trade-in (used) fleet. Assess service needs for equipment to get it Retail Ready. Create a folder for each machine to include fresh updated pictures. Forward to the sales team and Marketing contact to list (Machinery Trader). Create Sales Orders on units going directly to wholesalers

Skills & Qualifications

  • Expert level Google suite skills including but not limited to Sheets Gmail Pages etc.
  • Highly skilled project management and collaborative alignment capabilities.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical mathematical and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Education
  • At least 5 years equipment rental industry experience.
  • Prior retail sales industry experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Must be able to travel regionally up to 25% of the time.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods in a vehicle or at a desk.
  • Must be able to move stand stoop and bend freely.
