Clean Harborslocated inBaltimore MDis seeking aTruck-to-TruckTechnicianto join our team. As aTruck-to-Truck Technicianyou would be responsible for performing hands-on operations within the warehouse associated with loading and unloading 55-gallon drums offloading vans operating a forklift and completing paperwork for waste tracking/inventory purposes. Will oversee scanning all containers reporting extra or short containers; completing offload plan each shift.
****This position will temporarily be working out of Laurel MD with a planned future move to the Baltimore MD facility. Interviews will be conducted in the Baltimore facility and the employee should be willing to commute to Baltimore as needed until the move and after the move is completed to Baltimore on a long term basis.
Pay:$20/HR to start
Shift:7am-3pm Mon-Fri. OT and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Performs hands on operations such as drum pumping drum dumping tank farm operations and offloading vans;
- Performs drum storage and drum repacks;
- Operates a forklift as needed;
- Shipping and receiving;
- Performs general warehouse duties housekeeping and preventative maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 1 year of previous experience working in a warehouse or another industrial work environment preferred;
- Forklift experience preferred;
- Basic knowledge of chemistry and warehouse racking systems a plus;
- Ability to work under adverse work conditions heat & cold preferred;
- Accountability and punctuality.
