About the Lab
The Fatigue and Underlying Neurobiology Laboratory (FUN Lab) directed by Dr. Agostina Casamento-Moran investigates the behavioral and neurobiological mechanisms of fatigue one of the most prevalent yet poorly understood symptoms across the health care system. Our research combines neuroimaging psychophysiology and computational modeling to understand fatigue in health and disease. We are launching a dynamic interdisciplinary research program rooted in collaboration clinical impact and scientific curiosity.
Job Summary
We are seeking an individual with organizational and interpersonal skills to serve as our OPS Research Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments enjoys working with diverse teams and patient populations and is eager to contribute to impactful translational research. This opportunity provides valuable research and clinical training for candidates interested in pursuing graduate education or further career advancement in clinical psychology biomedical sciences or rehabilitationscience. The candidate shall anticipate gaining invaluable experience working with clinical populations developing task administrative skills relevant to Biomedical Engineering Neuroscience Psychology and Neurophysiology and participating in each phase of the research process within a NIH-funded research project.
Key Responsibilities -
Coordinate IRB submissions amendments and compliance.
Recruit screen consent and schedule participants.
Manage study timelines and assist with data collection and analysis (clinical assessment behavioral experiments neuroimaging and psychophysiological recordings).
Maintain accurate records (e.g. REDCap Excel lab notebooks).
Serve as liaison between collaborators clinical partners and the lab.
Develop and maintain laboratory manuals and protocols.
Participate in lab meetings.
$18 - $24 per hour; commensurate with experience
Bachelors or Masters in psychology neuroscience public health or related field.
Demonstrated communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meetdeadlines.
Knowledge of HIPAA and human subjects research ethics.
1 years of research or clinical coordination experience.
Quantitative skills (e.g. MATLAB R Python or similar).
Familiarity with psychophysiological methods (e.g. EMG ECG MRI EEG Behavior).
Experience working with clinical populations.
Experience with REDCap Qualtrics or behavioral data tools.
