Job Description

Are you ready to lead in a high-growth high-impact environment where your work directly shapes the future skilled trades workforce We are looking for a hands-on strategic Leadership Development Manager who thrives in fast-paced settings and is passionate about developing top-tier talent. This role blends the partnership of our divisional teams to build and scale leadership programs that grow our mid-level managers and front-line leaders along with your ability to manage complex projects and drive operational excellence across all divisions.



Key Responsibilities:

Program Development and Delivery:

  • Design and implement comprehensive leadership development programs targeted for mid-level managers and front-line supervisors. Your work is tailored to the unique needs of the skilled trades field leadership safety-first supervision and technical team management.
  • Develop leadership standards for roles within Knobelsdorff to assess training effectiveness and establish clear growth benchmarks.
  • Incorporate best practices in leadership qualities such as integrity vision empathy decisiveness and adaptability alongside performance management conflict resolution delegation empowerment and accountability.

Training Coaching and Performance Management:

  • Facilitate engaging workshops to emerging and experienced leaders in both field and office environments.
  • Partner with our HR Generalist team as you assist leaders in setting performance goals and conducting one-on-one coaching sessions with leaders to address specific challenges and opportunities for growth.
  • Provide actionable feedback and guidance to improve leadership effectiveness and team performance.

Performance & Safety Integration

  • Embed performance accountability into all training initiatives reinforcing our safety commitment and high-quality execution.

Scalable Learning Solutions

  • Develop blended learning experiences (in-person virtual on-the-job) that are practical scalable and aligned with our strategic objectives.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with department leaders to identify leadership development needs and align training programs with strategic objectives.
  • Serve as a resource for best practices in leadership and organizational effectiveness.

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

  • Track program effectiveness through KPIs feedback and field performance data to continuously improve learning outcomes.
  • Regularly evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of leadership training programs through measurable outcomes and feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in HR Organizational Development Business Administration or related field.
  • 7 years of experience in leadership development coaching or training roles ideally within the skilled trade and industry sectors.
  • Proven experience with learning management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of leadership principles performance management and development strategies.
  • Strong understanding of field operations and the leadership challenges in skilled trades environments.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering engaging leadership development training programs.
  • Certification in coaching or leadership programs and familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory standards in the skilled trades is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit stand kneel stoop walk and sit for long periods of time
  • Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
