About the Role:
As Operations Manager you will oversee all aspects of our manufacturing environment ensuring we meet production quality and cost objectives. Youll be a key member of our leadership team contributing to strategic decisions and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Direct day-to-day operations ensuring efficient production and quality standards.
- Drive site improvement plans set operational goals and remove obstacles to success.
- Maintain strict EHS standards and promote a safety-first culture.
- Manage inventory distribution and equipment maintenance.
- Implement ISO 9000 procedures.
- Team Development & Management:
- Lead mentor and develop a high-performing team.
- Conduct performance appraisals provide feedback and ensure goal completion.
- Attract and retain top talent.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Strategic Initiatives:
- Analyze data for long-term strategic planning and improvement.
- Lead significant projects and improvement initiatives including budgeting and scheduling.
- Implement operational improvement strategies for safety cost quality and efficiency.
- Maintain maximum efficiency for facilities and equipment.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Business Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive Operations Management experience including team leadership.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams through clear communication.
- Strong understanding of modern manufacturing practices and improvement strategies (e.g. ELS).
- Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Experience with project management and budgeting.
- Strong command of English (essential); Dutch language skills (advantage).
- Willingness to travel (10%).
- Knowledge of the printing and fulfillment industry is preferred.
