Job Description

About the Role:

As Operations Manager you will oversee all aspects of our manufacturing environment ensuring we meet production quality and cost objectives. Youll be a key member of our leadership team contributing to strategic decisions and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Direct day-to-day operations ensuring efficient production and quality standards.
    • Drive site improvement plans set operational goals and remove obstacles to success.
    • Maintain strict EHS standards and promote a safety-first culture.
    • Manage inventory distribution and equipment maintenance.
    • Implement ISO 9000 procedures.
  • Team Development & Management:
    • Lead mentor and develop a high-performing team.
    • Conduct performance appraisals provide feedback and ensure goal completion.
    • Attract and retain top talent.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Strategic Initiatives:
    • Analyze data for long-term strategic planning and improvement.
    • Lead significant projects and improvement initiatives including budgeting and scheduling.
    • Implement operational improvement strategies for safety cost quality and efficiency.
    • Maintain maximum efficiency for facilities and equipment.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive Operations Management experience including team leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams through clear communication.
  • Strong understanding of modern manufacturing practices and improvement strategies (e.g. ELS).
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience with project management and budgeting.
  • Strong command of English (essential); Dutch language skills (advantage).
  • Willingness to travel (10%).
  • Knowledge of the printing and fulfillment industry is preferred.
