We are looking for a Fleet Coordinator to join the Fleet team. This position assists branches in maintaining authorising and controlling all fleet assets. Manage vendor relationships with dealerships and suppliers. Manage all traffic citations accidents policies for fleet units fuel cards and reports. Verify fleet invoice billing accuracy and work with the accounting department on payments. Prepare Purchase Orders for authorisation and payment.
Responsibilities:
- Developing relationships with key vendors in both Australia and New Zealand.
- Maintain an accurate listing of current vehicles with driver details registration and recorded kilometres.
- Liaise with branches on repairs and maintenance to existing vehicles.
- Recommend disposal of vehicles when they become uneconomical including developing a standard lifecycle for the fleet.
- Maintain good branch relations.
- Process registrations road user charges fuel cards tolls and fines.
- Ensure quality control of vehicles delivered and follow up with suppliers when issues are identified.
- Provide monthly reporting on fleet running costs.
- Execute other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated individual able to work individually as well as part of a team
- Experience with logistics/fleet management systems would be advantageous
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Some post-secondary education in business administration is an asset but not required.
- Problem-solving skills; ability to assess situation; evaluate options and select and act upon the best solution
- Good working knowledge of MS Office including Excel pivot tables vlookup and Power BI.
- Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract are required
- Good interpersonal skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
