TheSusan Wayne Center of Excellence (SWCE)provides intensive staff secure educational and living experiences for male and female adolescents intended to cultivate excellence in all areas of growth and functioning while preparing them for increased independence as they move into young adulthood. We are located on thirty-eight acres of property in beautiful Thompson CT. Thompson is centrally located 25 minutes south of Worcester MA and 40 minutes west of Providence RI. The program serves 33 adolescents with developmental disabilities who range in age from 10-21.
We provide training in cutting-edge treatment models such as the ARC framework Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART) and Neurofeedback Therapy. We offer ongoing monthly professional development through SMART and Family Therapy consultation. Clinical supervision is provided within a multidisciplinary team and we will help you obtain licensure if needed.
Schedule: Full Time 9AM - 5PM; TBD one weekend day will be needed
Salary: $63000 - $64000
What Youll Do:
This position is as a full time Clinician within a Residential program. The Clinician provides individual group and family therapy to a caseload of five to eight residents. The Clinician is an integral member of the residents treatment team and is also responsible for the development of interdisciplinary treatment plans as well as all case documentation. The Clinician will be expected to maintain professionalism and work alongside other professionals as needed with other agencies.
