Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) Cloud Specialist to support a client implementation project focused on streamlining time collection labor reporting and payroll system integration. This role requires deep expertise in configuring Oracle OTL Cloud implementing complex approval workflows and building integrations with Oracle HCM Cloud and external platforms. You will have a strong understanding of time tracking policies payroll impact and labor law compliance requirements and must be able to work independently to resolve issues ensure accurate time data processing and improve operational efficiency across HR and finance systems.

WORKSITE: Remote (Los Angeles CA)

WORK SCHEDULE: Standard business hours (Pacific Time) 6-month engagement with potential extension

PAY RATE: $85.00/hour to $95.00/hour

WHAT YOULL DO:

  • Configure and maintain Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) Cloud modules including time entry profiles approval workflows time card layouts and labor categories to align with client-specific policies and union agreements

  • Analyze complex time tracking needs and translate them into scalable compliant OTL Cloud configurations supporting multiple business units or pay groups

  • Collaborate with HR payroll and technical teams to design and implement integrations between Oracle OTL Cloud Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party platforms (e.g. Kronos ADP or labor analytics tools)

  • Troubleshoot and resolve time entry approval routing accrual miscalculations and integration failures using logs error diagnostics and test case validation

  • Support payroll processing cycles by ensuring OTL data is accurate properly approved and synchronized with payroll systems in accordance with client-defined cutoffs

  • Document solution designs timekeeping rules approval hierarchies and integration mappings to support maintenance and cross-team knowledge sharing

  • Participate in end-user testing training and go-live activities to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of OTL capabilities

WHAT YOULL BRING:

  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) Cloud including complex workflows validation rules and time entry formats

  • Demonstrated ability to build cross-platform integrations between Oracle OTL HCM Cloud payroll systems and third-party time collection tools using Oracle Integration Cloud or equivalent middleware

  • Solid understanding of labor regulations union rules shift differentials and payroll eligibility logic as it relates to time collection and leave management

  • Experience supporting large enterprise or public sector environments especially in time-sensitive compliance-heavy operational contexts

  • Strong problem-solving testing and documentation skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a virtual team across HR payroll and IT

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead discussions with stakeholders explain timekeeping logic and contribute to project planning and decision-making
