Job Description

We are looking for a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and Ford Certification (we will consider candidates working towards certification.) Day-to-day work includes completing assigned repair jobs and diagnosing any issues the vehicle may have.

Responsibilities

  • Complete repair and maintenance work listed on service tickets quickly and correctly

  • Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to find problems

  • Fix and maintain key systems like the engine transmission electrical brakes suspension steering and A/C

  • Talk with the Service Advisor to explain what else the car may need and how long repairs will take

  • Do all warranty work by the book using manufacturer guidelines

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience as an auto technician preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent training

  • Ford Certification not required but highly preferred

  • Previous experience at a dealership

  • Strong skills in diagnostics electrical work and engine repair

  • Good hand-eye coordination and steady hands

  • Able to use scan tools and other diagnostic equipment

  • Friendly professional attitude and solid customer service skills

  • Willing to learn and keep up with new tools technology and repair methods

  • Team player who works well in a busy shop

  • Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
