Role & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to Co-Founder and CEO Tarun Thakur the VP of Engineering will:

  • Scale the engineering organization from 80 to 300 team members while ensuring innovation velocity and resource optimizationexpanding existing teams and building new ones where needed.

  • Build and mentor a high-performing leadership bench including engineering managers and technical directors with a focus on long-term sustainability and growth.

  • Implement best-in-class engineering processes and workflows that support efficient development on-time product delivery high-quality deliverables and effective management of customer escalations.

  • Deliver critical technical milestones that enable product expansion meet evolving customer requirements and support seamless scalability during hyper-growth.

  • Foster a strong inclusive engineering culture rooted in innovation collaboration and accountability.

  • Define and track key performance metrics and create transparent career development paths to support retention and long-term team success.

Over 10 years of experience in SaaS leadership with a focus on security domainsincluding application security cloud infrastructure and data systems protection.

At Veza your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position the reasonably expected pay range can be discussed with your recruiter for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors including your experience qualifications education location and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for equity and a competitive benefits package.
