We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is experienced in orthopedics/musculoskeletal issues to join our medical practices in McDonough GA. Our ideal Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is comfortable working within an integrated setting collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections so the incoming candidate must have experience doing those types of procedures.

Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation (medical history physical exam review pertinent med records/imaging)
- Order and review tests/labs (MRIs NCVs etc)
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
- Patient education as to diagnosis treatment options rehab/exercises and various modalities
- Manage patient care
- Treatments- perform trigger point and joint injections
- Prescribe physical therapy and/or chiropractic care as needed
- Prescribe medications as necessary for pain and treatment (no narcotics prescribed)
- Documentation and progress notes daily timely and accurate
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care plans
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) program
- PA/NP license in GA
- Orthopedic Physical Med and Rehab or Pain management background is preferred
- Must have musculoskeletal and joint injection experience
Schedule:
- Full time Monday Friday
Compensation:
- $120k-$130k (DOE)
