Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to design implement and maintain critical database systems ensuring high availability and optimal performance. This role requires a mix of technical expertise and strategic leadership collaborating with various IT teams to support application development and data integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design install and maintain enterprise-level database systems (SQL Server Oracle).
- Monitor and optimize database performance ensuring data integrity and security.
- Automate routine tasks and manage backup/recovery processes.
- Collaborate with developers and analysts to support application development.
- Provide 24/7 support for mission-critical systems.
Key Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL and Oracle Database Systems
- Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments
- Scripting experience with PowerShell or similar for automation
- Knowledge of backup/recovery tools and performance tuning
- Understanding of data security access controls and compliance regulations
