YSS is seeking an enthusiastic caring fun compassionate Kids Club Site Coordinatorto join our Kids Club Team in Gilbert! working with K-2 students!
The goal of Kids Club is to develop a safe worthwhile educational and fun experience for the children who participate. As the Kids Club Site Coordinator you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and programming in one of our Kids Club locations. As part of our well-trained dedicated staff you will strive to create an environment where children can build positive relationships with caring adults. Other responsibilities include:
  • Plan and implement all-day programming during the school year in-service days winter break spring break and summer.
  • Work with staff and community resources to identify recreational and educational activities.
  • Develop a structured service-learning plan for each school year implementing themed monthly activities that align with program goals.
  • Provide leadership to site staff in the areas of behavior management teaching and administration.
  • Oversee the daily program from start to finish including preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Supervise children in the program monitoring behavior participation and performance.
  • Monitor check-in and check-out procedures ensuring authorized drop-offs and pickups.
  • Track attendance payments relevant child and family data.
  • Complete required paperwork and attend all meetings and training sessions.

MUST HAVES - Required Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma/equivalent and three years of experience in an elementary/middle school child-care or child development setting.
    • or
  • Associates or higher degree and at least one year of experience in an elementary/middle school child-care or child development setting
    • plus
  • Successful completion of CPR/First Aid Universal Precautions and Mandatory Reporter Training within the first three months of employment.
SHOULD HAVES - Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education Child Development or Elementary Education.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role with the ability to lead and support a team effectively.
  • Calm under pressure and able to quickly problem-solve using a mix of critical thinking creativity and good judgment to find smart thoughtful solutions.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time and resource management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communicatorclear confident and engaging in verbal written and interpersonal interactions.
  • Comfortable engaging with children at different developmental stages with a solid understanding of how kids grow learn and communicate.
