As a Technology Support I team member in Commercial & Investment Bank you will ensure the operational stability availability and performance of our production application flows. Be part of the team responsible for troubleshooting maintaining identifying escalating and resolving production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems ensuring a seamless user experience. Youll work collaboratively in teams on a wide range of projects based on your primary area of focus: design or programming. While learning to fix application and data issues as they arise youll also gain exposure to software development testing deployment maintenance and improvement in addition to production lifecycle methodologies and risk guidelines. Finally youll have the opportunity to develop professionally and to grow your career in any direction you choose.

Job responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot production application flows to ensure end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to support business operations
  • Assist in the improvement of operational stability and availability through participation in problem management
  • Ability to work outside of normal hours including participating in a changing/rotational on-call schedule that includes weekends and holidays (as per business needs) isrequired
  • Support the management of incidents problems and changes in technology applications or infrastructure and escalate in compliance with firm policy and processes
  • Work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
  • Work on issues independently and communicate to management and required stakeholders both internal and external
  • Manage complex process flows and trouble shoot issues with partners like Development team and Infrastructure team
  • Fix bugs and find the problem and provide resolutions in short timelines

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

  • 1 years of experience or equivalent expertise in troubleshooting resolving and maintaining information technology services
  • Familiarity with applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment on-premises or in the public cloud
  • Familiarity with Service Now Change Management Incident Management Problem Management processes
  • Working knowledge of development toolset to design develop test deploy maintain and improve software
  • Knowledge of Redhat Linux Oracle and Java
  • Have the ability to write and analyze complex SQL queries and script in various languages such as Python Bash Perl
  • A sense of curiosity to future out problems as well as self-motivation to drive those problems toward solutions
  • Sound knowledge of the ITIL or Incident Problem and Change management for Production support
  • Understanding of data security and controls

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills

  • 2 years of experiences inApplication or Production Support or equivalent experience in Application Development orsupport role in SDLC processes
  • Exposure to newer technologies such as AWS Kafka Micro services Cassandra is preferred
  • Monitoring tool familiarity such as: Datadog GeneosSplunk Grafana and/or Dynatrace preferred
  • Experience with DevOps tools AWS or other Cloud technologies ispreferred
  • Financial services industry/ tech experience is a plus
