Job Purpose
Coordinates the Targeted Approach to Better Health Outcomes grant through TSET by working directly with the HSOK School Health Manager and HSOK School Coordinators (located at up to 20 schools across the state). This position manages community-related partnerships. In addition the School Health Coordinator works directly with participating school sites to develop plans to improve student health outcomes. This is a two-year position located in Oklahoma City.
Grant Funded Position
This position is fully funded by TSET - and has a 3 year term - funded from July 2024 - June 2027. There is an estimated 2 years remaining in the funding allowing this position until June 2027.

Assist in maintaining coordinator and resource directory; assist with the development of health and PE videos attend weekly staff meetings; attend monthly meeting with School Health Manager and PE and Health Coordinator and attend monthly Community Development meetings.

Qualifications
Education:
Undergraduate degree in physical education community health education or related field
Experience:
Must be computer literate and possess the ability to work independently with strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills. Previous grant management experience preferred.

Bethany Childrens Health Center is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services for children (ages 0-21) and is the only inpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility in Oklahoma.
