Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Functions as the propertys strategic financial business leader. The position champions develops and implements property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brands target customer and property employees. The position provides the financial expertise to enable the successful implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives while maximizing the return on addition creates and executes a business plan that is aligned with the property and brands business strategy and focuses on the execution of financial and accounting activities and the delivery of desirable financial results.
- Your Responsibilities
Developing and implementing the companys financial strategy
Planning and creating the hotel budget based on operational data from other departments
Monitoring financial results against budgets and forecasts providing up-to-date reports and analyses to the General Manager and management
Overseeing the preparation of the companys financial statements for the companys owners Marriott International and the General Manager
Supervising planning and directing the work of those responsible for accounting bookkeeping and finance including the payroll process
Controlling all revenues incurred costs and losses of the company
Managing a team of several accounting and purchasing departments (7 people in total)
Ensuring compliance of the companys operations with Marriott operational and financial procedures as well as applicable laws and accounting standards
Collaboration with hotel operational departments training in changing regulations and support in audits and inspections by external bodies - Our Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a financial director/manager or a similar position related field
Higher education in finance accounting or related field
Experience in the hotel industry is desirable
Knowledge of tax law and accounting standards
Communicative English (minimum B2 level)
Openness communication skills and commitment to hotel operations - What we offer
