DescriptionInova Health is looking for a dedicatedData Engineering Architect to join the Team. This remote role will be full-time day-shift from Monday - Friday.
The Data Engineering Architect designs and implements data strategies architecture and ETL processes to support Epic and other systems. They manage software updates including Interim and Special Updates Release Authorizations and production downtimes. Responsible for environmental and infrastructure strategies they ensure optimal Epic performance and coordinate equipment upgrades. Advising leadership on enterprise architecture they lead projects manage security and resolve system-wide issues providing expert decision support and troubleshooting across the organization.

Data Engineering ArchitectJob Responsibilities:
- Leads the development of the enterprise-wide Data Architecture.
- Supports teams with daily data content needs and proper data modeling.
- Designs and implements ETL processes for data marts and warehouses.
- Analyzes data usage and aligns it with project requirements.
- Contributes to data governance and enforces data standards.
- Captures and consolidates source data with proper lineage and change control including cloud and on-premises sources.
- Publishes vetted data sources for BI tools like Tableau Crystal and Epic.
Data Engineering ArchitectAdditional Requirements:
- Work Schedule: Monday Friday; Remote
- Education: Bachelors degree; or Associates degree and 2 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required; or HS Diploma/GED and 4 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required
- Experience: 7 years experience working with BI developers and end users.
- Certification: Advanced certifications in IT specialties within 6 months
Data Engineering Architect Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure and MS Fabric skills preferred
- Experience developing and automating ETL workflows to prepare blend and transform large datasets from multiple sources
- Experience working with Epic preferred
- Experience in a healthcare environment preferred
