Job Description
Were looking for a detail-oriented and advancement-driven Project Engineer with 510 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry. Youll play a key role in the planning and design of critical municipal infrastructure projects including sewershed studies rehabilitation work water distribution systems pump stations and treatment facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to lead design efforts collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and grow professionally in a supportive high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute multiple water and wastewater projects simultaneously from concept through construction.
- Perform design calculations and use design tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D Revit and ArcGIS.
- Prepare reports technical specifications construction cost estimates and engineering drawings.
- Analyze maps surveys blueprints geologic data and site conditions to inform designs.
- Identify and resolve collection/distribution system deficiencies and develop effective engineering solutions.
- Participate in field investigations and site visits as needed.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings; assist with meeting documentation.
- Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements safety standards and client specifications.
- Guide junior engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Review designs to ensure quality accuracy and compliance with the Project Management Plan.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Environmental Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
- 510 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater infrastructure design.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D Revit ArcGIS MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
