About the Role
A leading law firm is seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney with over 10 years of experience handling complex civil litigation matters. This role requires expertise across all stages of litigation and offers opportunities to work on a diverse caseload including commercial real estate tort and contract disputes. The ideal candidate is proactive detail-oriented and committed to delivering exceptional legal representation.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of civil litigation from inception through trial or settlement
- Handle a wide range of disputes including commercial tort real estate and contract matters
- Provide strategic legal advice and draft high-quality pleadings motions and legal memoranda
- Represent clients in court hearings mediations arbitrations and trials
- Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on high-quality service
- Contribute to business development efforts and expand client base
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license in good standing to practice law
- 10 years of experience in civil litigation
- Proven ability to manage complex caseloads independently
- Strong legal writing research and oral advocacy skills
- Demonstrated courtroom experience and litigation success
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in bankruptcy law or related proceedings
- Prior appellate or federal court clerkship experience
- Portable book of business or established client relationships
- Background in high-value or high-profile litigation cases
