Job Description
Job Title: OB/GYN Physician Part Time/PRN/Temp
Location: Greenville Womens Care - Greenville NC
Employment Type: Part Time/PRN/Temporary
Position Overview:
Greenville Womens Care a division of Physicians East is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician to provide part-time PRN and temporary coverage. This flexible role includes both outpatient and inpatient services and is perfect for a physician looking to supplement their schedule with occasional shifts in a supportive team-based environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality OB/GYN care including outpatient and inpatient services as scheduled
- Manage labor and delivery cases perform routine and high-risk prenatal care
- Night and weekend call coverage required
- Conduct gynecological exams procedures and surgeries as needed
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers nursing staff and support teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
Qualifications:
- MD with board certification/eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active and unrestricted medical license in NC
- Current DEA registration
- Strong clinical communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Previous OB/GYN experience preferred
Position Details:
- PRN temporary coverage for scheduled shifts maternity leave vacation coverage and as-needed support
- No long-term commitment required
