Job Description
Cedar Park Group is seeking a skilled Commercial Painter / Taper & Sander to join our team. This role requires precision and craftsmanship in taping sanding cutting in and overall paint preparation and finish work in commercial settings. Candidates should be detail-oriented safety-focused and ready to contribute to high-quality finishing work across multiple projects.
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Responsibilities:
Perform surface preparation including taping sanding priming and caulking
Execute precise cutting-in work and apply coatings using brushes rollers or sprayers
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Read and follow project blueprints drawings and finish specifications
Work independently or with a team to meet project deadlines
Adhere to safety protocols and wear full PPE at all times
Requirements:
5 years of commercial painting experience
Proficient in taping sanding and cutting in with clean lines
OSHA 10 certification
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or scaffolding as needed
Reliable transportation
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Must be prepared to work in varying environmental conditions
