St. Olaf College in Northfield MN seeks Assistant Professor of Applied Mathematics to serve as a member of the faculty holding appointment in Department of Mathematics Statistics and Computer Science. The successful candidate will: teach 5 courses/year including beginning intermediate and advanced undergraduate math and will develop/maintain active research program including contributions to department commitment to research by/involving undergraduates.
Salary: $73950 - $76000
Qualifications
PhD in Mathematics or closely related field is required. Applicants should have expertise in applied/computational math and demonstrated commitment to and potential for supporting a thriving and diverse undergraduate math program through teaching/research/mentoring of undergrad research and advising. Applicants with experience teaching undergraduate math courses especially courses with full responsibility will be given higher consideration.
