Role Duties and Responsibilities:

Carry out technical diagnosis repairs and maintenance services based on customers needs.

Provide accurate estimates for all maintenance repairs and products sold in coordination with the Senior Technical Officer and Operations Manager.

Ensure all work on vessels has been authorized and clarify any uncertainties with supervisors.

Use materials and equipment efficiently and ensure all work is conducted safely and economically.

Test vessels and diagnose issues when requested by senior personnel.

Report all current and potential future faults identified during work.

Stay updated with all relevant technical issues bulletins and updates.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Complete all company documentation accurately and submit it to the Operations Manager and Accounts Department.

Follow all warranty procedures as per company and manufacturer policies.

Personally assess customer requirements by visiting vessels and understanding concerns.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships by meeting and exceeding expectations.

Answer technical queries clearly and avoid excessive jargon.
Candidate Profile Requirements Skills:
-
Proficient in diagnosing and repairing marine vessels including engines electrical systems and mechanical components.

Prior experience in a similar role within the marine industry.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement effective repair solutions.

Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical procedures and advice to clients.

Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment and shifting priorities.

Relevant certifications or qualifications in marine technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous.

Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and satisfaction.
