Job Description
Pay Rate: $42.50 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Follow safety lock out tag out procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to lower level Electrician and work unsupervised.
- Troubleshoot repair and perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment throughout the chicken plant as described in the electrician training book.
- Work from blueprints or schematics to perform maintenance repair or install equipment.
- Must have knowledge and be able to trouble shoot and repair electronics.
Qualifications :
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a minimum of five years of experience as a plant electrician production environment preferred. Must be Master Level Electrician for a minimum of six months.
- Must have knowledge of A/C variable frequency drives and programmable logic controllers and electronic equipment.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have good written and oral English communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work from a ladder.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts.
- Must be able to pass written tests.
- Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time on a concrete/metal grate floor.
- Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
