Job Summary:
The College of Health Sciences and Technology at STU invites applications for a position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Cellular Science and Physiology. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate biology courses each semester as well as develop an active laboratory-based research program which includes research experiences for undergraduates. Research that complements our current cell science core faculty is a plus but not a requirement. Established curriculum-based research courses can be used as part of the teaching load. Shared core research equipment is available. The candidate will be in the unique position to help guide the growth and future of our existing biology program as well as work with our newly established Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences Pre-professional degree. The candidate will work with current faculty to recruit advise and retain students.
