Job Description
Angott Search Group is partnering with a Michigan credit union with assets north of $3 billion in their search for a Commercial Credit Analyst to support their growing Business Services team.
This role is responsible for underwriting commercial loan requests evaluating borrower financials and preparing credit presentations. The analyst will assess loan risk support relationship managers and perform ongoing credit reviews to ensure sound lending decisions and policy compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze complex commercial and personal financial statements to assess creditworthiness
Prepare clear and concise credit memos for loan approval
Conduct annual reviews and risk rating updates
Evaluate collateral and ensure compliance with credit policy and regulations
Collaborate with lenders to understand member needs and recommend credit structures
Mentor junior analysts and assist with training initiatives
Qualifications:
3 years of commercial credit or lending experience
Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment
Bachelors degree required
Experience with credit analysis software (Sageworks preferred)
SBA knowledge a plus
