Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct change outs in all areas (production jacketing re-spool hydro and extrusion)
Daily yard operations rigging
Rigger (using hand signals run chain through shipping spools tie chains to shackles guide the forklift operators)
Operate re-spooling equipment with the instructions of NCRs and email communications.
Load and off-load trucks.
Must fill out scrap tickets.
Load tie down and unload rail cars.
Perform respool and forklift inspections.
Ensure all products have proper identification.
Maintain good housekeeping and organization around the yard.
Ability to perform all tasks in the yard from Material Handler 1.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
Follow the NOV Fiber Glass Systems Attendance Guidelines.
Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies guiding principles procedures and programs; including but not limited to the process map support processes health safety and environmental requirements. Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesKNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Certified to operate light-duty forklifts and equipment (22K 6K 25ton Lull Man-Lift)
Basic reading writing and arithmetic skills required.
Must be able to operate Respool #1 and #2 and identify the correct shipping spool.
Be able to fill out respools QP-180 Respools Final Inspection Record.
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
Clear and concise communicator (written and verbal).
Detail-oriented and organized.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Report any damaged or non-working tooling to Supervisor.
Able to follow Supervisors instructions.
Must have a valid drivers license.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses hearing protectors safety shoes and hardhats. Company uniforms must be worn at all times.
