Job Description
Need to have five years experience in the following types of welding
- GMAW (MIG)
- SMAW (STICK)
- GTAW (TIG)
- FCAW (FLUX CORE)
- GAS/OXYACETYLENE WELDING
- CARBON ARC CUTTING
Position would be hired for 1st 2nd or 3rd shift based on collective bargaining agreement.
- Must have the ability to read basic measuring instruments and blueprints.
- Must be able to work on pre-heated tool steels (High Heat).
- Required to wear air supplied respirators and welding related personal protective equipment.
- This position is part of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District 54.
- Employees are required to work every other weekend. Shift will be determined based on seniority.
Base Wage: $32.221
Additional Cost-of-Living Adjustment: $4.46 /hr. (in addition to base wage)
2nd shift differential: $0.44 /hr.
3rd shift differential: $0.73 /hr.
Earn 1 week vacation after 6 months of employment
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Must have 5 years of more applicable welding experience.
