Description
- Requires at least1 year experience as an Anesthesia Technician
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
- Assumes responsibility to ensure proper functioning of all equipment by using appropriate quality control procedures on a routine basis.
- Works collaboratively as a team member when providing patient care to promote positive patient outcomesand tomaintaincontinuity of patient care through clear communication and professional working relationships including pertinent oral and/or written report to oncoming relief/ancillary personnel.
- Assistsin placement of invasive monitoring lines initiation of regional anesthesia and other anesthetic procedures as assigned.
- Sets up all pressure transducers and ensures proper calibration of transducers and monitors.
- Follows established policies for all safety and infection control practices andmonitorsthe environment and equipment to ensure cleaning standards aremaintained.
- Remains available and accessible when on duty or on-call
- Demonstrates knowledge of current trends and practices inhealthcare field as evidence by attending in services for equipment supplies and procedures.
- Utilizes materialequipmentand time in a safetherapeuticand cost-effective manner.
- Responds to all supervisors requests for information andassistsina timelyand courteous manner.
- Maintain and Model Nuvance Health Values.
- Demonstrates regularreliableand predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as.
- Requires at least1 year experience as an Anesthesia Technician
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team with multi-disciplines
Working Conditions:
Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
Occupational: Some occupational risk
Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force
Physical Environment: Some exposure to dirt odors noise human waste etc.
