Senior Systems Administrator
Columbia MD Government/Military
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Full-Time Fully Funded $180000$190000 (Depending on Experience)

Helm Point Solutions is a woman-owned cybersecurity and physical security firm supporting the nations most critical missions. Were hiring a Senior Systems Administrator to join a high-impact team supporting enterprise IT infrastructure for a classified program.
Youll work hands-on with a wide range of technologies - from Linux environments to virtualization automation and security compliance tools - ensuring our mission partners can operate securely reliably and without interruption.
What Youll Do
In this role you will:
Install configure and maintain Linux (CentOS/RHEL) and Windows systems
Perform system patching and vulnerability remediation (YUM IAVA compliance)
Troubleshoot system performance storage and connectivity issues
Build maintain and troubleshoot virtual machines (VMs)
Write and maintain shell scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate tasks
Monitor infrastructure using tools like Nagios and SecurityCenter (Tenable)
Support and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 escalated service tickets
Manage PKI certificates (renewals revocations)
Collaborate with other technical teams to maintain secure high-performance systems
Create and maintain SOPs using Confluence
Use GIT for version control (branching tagging repository management)
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
15 years of experience as a System Administrator supporting large-scale IT systems
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or 5 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
DoD 8570 IAT Level I or higher certification (e.g. A Network Security)
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
