Job Title: Senior Support Worker - Childrens Residential Home
Location: Chippenham Wiltshire
Pay Rate: 29047 - 32323 per annum

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Senior Support Worker to join its clients Childrens Residential Home team based in Chippenham.

About the Role:

This three-bed residential home provides care for young people with learning difficulties and emotional and behavioural needs. As a Senior Support Worker youll play a vital role in leading a team of support staff ensuring high standards of care and helping young people thrive in a safe nurturing environment

What will your responsibilities be

In this role you will

  • Support the management team in delivering high-quality therapeutic care
  • Lead and mentor a team of Support Workers
  • Ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance (Childrens Homes Regulations 2015)
  • Promote a culture of emotional warmth and trauma-informed care
  • Build strong empathetic relationships with young people families and professionals
  • Participate in daily routines activities and reflective practice
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning

  • Base salary: 29047 per annum (DOE)
  • Sleep-in payments: 63 per night (average 1 per week)
  • Total average salary: 32323 per annum

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have

  • Minimum 1 years experience in residential childcare
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care and therapeutic models (e.g. PACE POP)
  • Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills
  • UK driving licence
  • Clear DBS and positive references
  • Must be 21 due to registration requirements
