Title:
Senior Electrical EngineerWere seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in Low Voltage Systems and ASP3 delivery to join our KBR Electrical Engineering & Consulting Team based in either Sydney or Melbourne.
Youll be a key technical leader driving the design and delivery of electrical systems across our six market sectors: Transport Energy Resources Water Defence & Buildings and Sustainable Solutions. This is a high-impact role that supports the safety quality and performance of critical infrastructure projects across the nation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of electrical LV and ASP3 designs across infrastructure projects.
Project Lead on a current Transport project leading a small group of engineers to deliver LV and ASP3 designs
Provide expert advice on installation maintenance and design best practices.
Perform calculations and modelling of LV systems.
Prepare high-quality technical documentation and make system improvement recommendations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes standards and safety regulations.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams contractors and clients to deliver project outcomes.
Manage design budgets schedules and resourcing to meet project timelines.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong technical culture.
Skills & Experience Required:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
CPEng accreditation (or eligible to apply).
Minimum 10 years experience in the design and engineering of LV systems.
Demonstrated experience in ASP3 designs for the major Distribution companies.
Proficient in electrical design software such as AGI32 PowerCAD ETAP and SKM Powertools.
Strong understanding of infrastructure sector standards and electrical safety principles.
Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Solid project management and prioritisation capabilities.
