IT Infrastructure Officer

Temporary Full Time (to January 2028)
Hervey Bay
- Stream A Level 4 6 $86795 - $100017 (competency based) superannuation
- 9-day fortnight
- 17.5% annual leave loading

What we are looking for:
Due to internal movements were looking for an IT Infrastructure Officer to join our high performing team on a temporary basis to January 2028.
What your day will look like:
- Maintaining availability of IT infrastructure security performance and functionality of servers network systems operating systems and cloud infrastructure
- Administering the life cycle of councils servers
- Maintaining councils corporate applications infrastructure and databases
- Developing business cases project briefs and project implementation plans
- Liaising with vendors on any operation incidents service issues and procurement

What youll need for success:
Youll have substantial experience in a similar position and will be confident and capable in the administration and support of a Windows IT environment including:
- Networks: Network Equipment and Communication systems.
- Corporate Systems: Microsoft 365 Servers Cloud infrastructure Relational Databases Information Systems and Associated Tools & development
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Well-developed analytical and research skills
- A commitment to staying up to date with current and emerging industry trends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across the organisation
- Current QLD class C Drivers Licence
