Key job responsibilities As a Manufacturing Assembly Technician you will be directly supporting our drone vehicle production assembly process to identify and communicate methods to improve quality reduce cost and optimize the assembly process. In addition to product assembly support the candidate will also be cross-trained in vehicle testing process for production support as needed.
Assembly support: Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations Execute assembly of mechanical and electro-mechanical parts using proper tools and techniques Independently execute and prioritize work to meet deliverables relative to assigned drone assembly process(s). Work with production and the operations teams to help execute production readiness and testing responsibilities. Identify and recommend improvements by contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures Attention to detail in repetitive tasks
Test Support: Support / Execute vehicle testing as needed to ensure product functionality and conformity.
High school diploma GED or equivalent work experience 3 years relevant high traceability manufacturing experience (Aerospace Medical or related field) 2 years of hands-on work experience Electrical-Mechanical Assembly Final Integration and/or Harness Integration experience using work instructions. 1 years of hands-on experience with precision torque measurement and inspection devices (i.e. automated and manual torque wrenches torque drivers calipers micrometers profilometers optical inspection devices multi-meters) as well as standard hand tools Ability to carry / lift up-to 50lbs stand / walk during shifts lasting up to 10 hours and be able to frequently push pull squat bend and reach
Experience working in aerospace or a highly regulated industry. Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) and/or Avionics certification/license ASE certification and/or equivalent experience Experience working with FOD and ESD sensitive hardware Ability to work effectively in a team environment
